There's something about the middle of the restless night that inspires me.
I've been neglecting my photography lately, and I needed a catalyst to get things going again.
Tonight I've found it.

I'll be shooting a conceptual series of photos all under a topic I've been thinking about a lot lately, but I never really realized I could portray in photographs.

I need 50 or so models, which means 50 or so shoots. It's going to take a while.

Hopefully you guys will like it though, and get something fulfilling from it.

I'm back from a bit of craziness!
All of my 2 loyal followers will notice that I deleted most of my deviations.
I decided I want to move in a new direction with my photography. I want to focus on conceptual photos. Ones that portray a particular emotion or idea.

So I deleted all the ones that I felt were there to just look pretty.

I plan to start shooting again soon, so if you're interested, stop by to see what I come up with. I have some ideas already, I just need a model...

So I did the wedding shoot a few weeks ago, and it went quite well.
I have to say I enjoyed the whole idea. I wasn't nearly as nervous as I thought I would have been. The Bride and Groom arranged the whole thing themselves, and it turned out to be a lovely party. They invited us to help ourselves to whatever we liked, quite gracious of them.

Right now I'm kinda indifferent, which totally goes against everything I talk about. I'm always the one trying to motivate my photographer friends, and now I'm in a rut.

I want to try something new and controversial, something that shocks and awes, but I dunno if I even have anyone I could ask to model for me.
I have some ideas, just don't want to make anyone uncomfortable by asking them to help me realize them?

I dunno anymore..

She said the battle's almost won, and we're only several miles from the sun..

That line kinda sums it up right now. Things are opening up for me, by choice, by chance, and by miracle.
I finally got the D90!
It's amazing. I kinda wanna sleep with it at night. =o

I have a wedding shoot at the end of the month!
`mom-the-bomb invited me along. So good experience, and after I can set up my own wedding shoots if I find I can handle it. I've already got some ideas on how to get clients.

Yesterday I had another awesome idea to get my photos seen a bit more by the general public. So if that goes through well, I'll post a photo showing my print(s) in a local shop?
But not just any shop, a pretty cool one at that...

I still plan on getting *TheProjectRed up and running. I just haven't had the time. I need to get my other computer up so I can host some cool little things I've programmed not only for it, but for *iPhotograph and *photohunt as well!

And again, I wanted to thank each and every one of you who've watched me so far. I know I haven't posted anything recently, but I promise to change that very soon. Just give me a few weeks to get everything in order, and you'll see new stuff come in regularly. I have a shoot this weekend as well, so you'll likely see a few from that!

I've got it.
The itch to break out and let loose.
I'm ordering the D90 in the coming days!
I have the next week free, with no responsibilities. I plan on using it to grow in my photography.
I thank you all for the support you've given me this far, and I want to return the favor with new and interesting photos.
I'm ready to be consumed by photography.
And I'm about to let go.
